I was hoping to ease into the chicken posts slowly, but tonight turned out to be a huge deal for us. We got our first egg!!
They will be 16 Weeks old on Monday. Based on the egg color, it has to be from either Delilah or Camile, my black copper marans. I think it was Camile though, because I caught her in that same corner of the coop three times today, and noticed she had hollowed out a soft nest of straw right where the egg was laid.
